This is a limited edition woodcut print with hand coloring in acrylic, gouache and colored pencil. The abstract image is based on a specific, real location that exemplifies one of my fundamental subjects: the overlap of societal infrastructure and the natural world. In this case, a concrete and steel bridge spanning the White River in Vermont, coupled with distinctive geometry of light and shadow, provided the inspiration.
